The terms Sustainable Tourism, Responsible Tourism and Eco-Tourism are used more and more but their meanings are not well known. We try to shed some light on this in this article, and highlight the importance of Sustainable Tourism & Responsible Tourism practices.

Moroccan cuisine is synonymous with tagine, but to limit your thoughts to such would be a great disservice to what is a broad and fabulous gastronomic heritage and culture. Here we give a sample of classic dishes including Harira, great salads, Merchoui, Couscous (like you have never tasted it before), Pastilla and Meshwi.

This article discusses the events in 2013, a year of peaceful political change, during with the 20th February Movement (those leading the demonstrations in 2011) have been very quiet. Whilst youth unemployment is high and there are other social ills in Morocco as in many or most other countries at this time, there is widespread support for the King and belief in the good intentions of his reforms.

This article discusses the start of the "Arab Spring" in Morocco and the creation of the 20th February Movement - which coordinated demonstrations focused at high unemployment and perceived Government corruption. Holiday makers in Morocco were largely unaffected by these events, other than those near the infrequent demonstrations in major conurbations, which were largely peaceful.
