Airport Transfers

On arrival/departure we always arrange for a transfer by taxi, minibus or car.

Taxis or 4x4 with driver

We offer tours by 4x4 vehicles with a local driver in a range of comfortable vehicles for guests who prefer the more relaxed mode of travelling without the worry of navigating/driving. Having a driver can be an added bonus to your holiday.

Trains

There is an excellent and inexpensive train service linking Marrakech northwards to Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes, Fez and Tangier.

We can book first class tickets for departures from Marrakech and Fez (in Fez this service is available to clients who book our guides). Second class tickets are also possible. The rapide train service is useful if time is at a premium.

Tickets can be purchased at the local railway stations but routes and times can be researched on the railway timetables website.

Buses & Coaches

Three national bus companies operate between most centres and tickets are reasonably priced - a luxury coach with air conditioning costs from £10 per person for Marrakech to Essaouira or Agadir (approx 3.5 to 4 hours).

We can book tickets on your behalf for departures from Marrakech - tickets are delivered via our taxi suppliers who we book to deliver you to the coach station.

Car Hire

We use local companies to support the local economy and to save you money. We offer self drive options for guests who prefer the independence and freedom on their holiday or an overseas 'driving experience'. 

Taxis

There are two main types of taxis in most major Moroccan cities.

Grand taxis are shared taxis licensed to travel on particular routes, often long distances. These are an experience, but rarely have seat belts. They are a similar price to coaches but depart more frequently - though you may have to change taxis en route.

Petit taxis. These taxis work within towns and often have meters, but if they don't or the meter does not work, it's best to negotiate your fare in advance.

We advise that we pre-book private taxis using registered 'Transport Touristique' transport companies which are far superior in terms of level of comfort, safety and linguistic skills of our drivers.
