Essaouira
Naturally Morocco offers a range of camel trekking options from a professional horse and camel trekking ranch just 3 kms south of Essaouira.
Itineraries are available for half day, one day or longer trips with nights under canvas. Treks cover varied and beautiful landscapes of the coast, forest and High Atlas Mountains with friendly and entertaining local guides who love their animals.

Half Day Camel Trek
The trek starts by making your way over a number of sand dunes with varied vegetation from grasses to shrubs to small trees.
One Day Camel Trek
The trail takes you past the remains of a house once the temporary residence of famous rock star Jimi Hendrix, then to the beach where you ride alongside Atlantic Ocean, with the camels occasionally dipping their hooves into the water.
Overnight Camel Trek
he scenery on the treks is very varied and beautiful. The longer the trek, the more variety you see: sandy beaches, estuary, dunes, scrub, woodlands and the crumbling remains of a 16th century Portuguese fort.
