High Atlas
The High Atlas region is the major trekking area in Morocco, and Naturally Morocco has qualified and English speaking trekking guides offering a wide range of routes from trekking centres easily accessed from Marrakech (Imlil, Ouirgane, Amizmiz, Ourika Valley and M'Goun Valley).
With peaks rising to 4,167m at Mount Toubkal, some routes are only possible in the summer, but many are open all year round.
All abilities are catered for from those who are looking for casual day hikes, to the more experienced who might want longer treks and (in the summer) to ascend Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, to those who are seeking expeditions through challenging terrains.

Afensou/Mentaga Valley
Starting from Taroudant, the excursion begins with a scenic drive northwards into an area of the Western High Atlas rarely visited by foreigners.
