High Atlas (Asni)

Trek Grade: Easy to Moderate

You will be picked up from your accommodation in the Marrakech region. The drive takes 45 minutes from Marrakech or Ourika valley, but rather less from Imlil or Ouirgane.

You will meet your camel and be given some basic instructions before starting the trek from a hamlet, Moulay Brahim; it follows a route through juniper and pine forest, passing many villages near Asni, with fine views of Mount Toubkal (4,167m), the highest peak in North Africa.

The trek lasts 1.5 - 2 hours .

1. Pick up from accommodation in Marrakech or elsewhere in the region at 9.30am
   
2. Arrive near Asni for 10.30
   
3. Trek in the High Atlas Mt foothills
   
4. Trek ends and return to accommodation for lunch 12-12.30
