Ourika To Zat Valley

Day 1: Ourika – Abdouz

The trek begins in the village of Tadrart, passing by the Ouigran and a forest of oak and juniper trees to Abdouz (2,100m) for overnight stay. (About 5 to 6 hours' walk.)

Day 2: Abdouz – Yahour Plateau

During the day we will discover cave paintings view the Ourika Valley and Oukaiden plateau from the Yahour Plateau (2,200m) and camp overnight next to a small reservoir. (About 5 to 6 hours' walk.)

Day 3: Yahour Plateau – Ouarzazt – Azgour

More cave paintings are followed by a trek via several villages to Azgour Village and an overnight stay in a Berber gite. (About 6 hours' walk.)

Day 4: Azgour – Zat Valley – Tighdwin

After breakfast we follow the dirt road to Tighdwin where we take lunch before returning to Marrakech. (About 4 hours' walk).
