Accommodation: There are 32 bedrooms made up of 11 rooms, 1 house of 4 rooms, 7 apartments (4 with 2 bedrooms and 3 with 3 bedrooms) all with en suite bathroom, heating / air conditioning, hair dryer and stereo.

Bedrooms are decorated in pretty colours and fabrics and use traditional materials, to achieve a simple yet stylish look.

The 7 apartments in the new wing are 200 metres from the hotel.

Location: Remote from larger settlements, it lies atop low cliffs above the sandy beach very close to the estuary of the Massa and not far from the small village of Sidi Rabat, some 40 kms south of Agadir.

Although only 1 hour’s drive from Agadir airport, it should be noted that it is accessed by a 7 km long often rutted track.

Services and other points of note: There is a TV room with satellite TV and library and a Seminar room for 50 places or  200-seat room in a luxury tent.

You may observe a vast range of birds, some reptiles (including tortoises and terrapins) and maybe gazelles, ostriches and, if you are lucky, the critically endangered bald ibis.

There are two outdoor unheated pools (one 18m x 5m, one 11m long) and a spa with a covered heated pool with a view of the sea (to use the heated pool you have to pay the spa “day rate”), water and air massager, aqua gym, jacuzzi, hammam, two massage rooms and beauty and fitness centres. The heated pool measures 10m x 5m (depth: max 1.8m). Please note that swimming in the sea can be dangerous due to strong undercurrents and that after gales the beach may be littered with flotsam.

Fishing excursions with local fishermen in their boats or beach-casting can be arranged by the hotel.  Ksar Massa is an ideal place to reconnect with sun, sea, sand and sky, but can be windy. Mobile phones only.

Meals: Breakfast and dinner included. Lunch is made to order. There are two restaurants: "El Menzeh" for breakfast and lunch with salads, grilled fish and meat; and "Erryad" where gourmet menus of Moroccan dishes from Fez and Marrakesh are served at dinner.

Local specialities and freshly caught fish and salads. You may be served outside on the terrace or in the panoramic restaurant.
