Accommodation: There are 18 very well appointed bedrooms, all with sound proofing and TV, telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer and safe and en suite bathroom with a shower and/or bath. 5 of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor including 3 single rooms. There are:

• 3 Suites (27 - 30 sq m with a sitting area and 1 extra bed), including 1 twin;
• 5 'Premium' rooms (20 - 22 sq m with a sitting area), 2 doubles and 3 twins;
• 5 'Standard' rooms (16 - 19 sq m), 2 doubles and 3 twins; and
• 5 Single rooms (9 - 12 sq m), one of which may be used as a twin.

The main patio, adorned by a central fountain and orange trees, is surrounded by a wide variety of public rooms; a smaller patio is devoted to dining; a third patio forms the leisure area with a heated pool, Jacuzzi, sundeck, spa with traditional hammam, massage rooms, a small cafe/bar and a fourth patio for bedrooms.

Location: Conveniently situated in the Kasbah district of the Medina close to the gate Bab Ksiba, the Palaces and the Saadien Tombs, with parking directly outside the hotel.  It is over 20 minutes on foot from the main square of Jemaa el Fna.

Services and other points to note: There is a small boutique selling ethically sourced products, a lounge bar, two sitting rooms (one with internet access) and a meeting room.

A notable feature of the hotel is its responsible tourism policy including use of solar power, energy efficient lighting, the use of dispensers in bathrooms, care in waste management, fair pay for staff with bonuses linked to client satisfaction and support of environmental initiatives.

A 270m² leisure area has been created, at the foot of rampart walls below a tower (hence the name "les borjs"), with a heated pool, Jacuzzi, sundeck, spa with traditional hammam and massage. There is no roof terrace.

Cookery lessons are available with the Riad’s Head Chef or his staff

Meals: A superb buffet breakfast with exceptional choice of dishes including a many homemade delicacies is included in the cost, as well as a welcome cocktail. Both dinner and lunch are available, chosen from an inspiring menu, created by their talented young chef. Meals are either served outdoors in the restaurant patio adorned by a fountain or indoors. Attractive lounge bar.
