Accommodation: Set around the patios of 4 intercommunicating houses, the individually styled rooms are decorated in traditional style and generally in muted colours. There are suites, some with sea views, or double superior rooms that may take an extra bed; several twin rooms and 2 spacious family suites. All have en suite bathrooms.

Location: Well located with very easy access to all points of interest, just round the corner from the atmospheric Place Moulay Hassan, the main square, which is the main thoroughfare between the town and the lively and photogenic port. Convenient to beaches, port, the main square and town, all of which are within 3 or 4 minutes' walk.

Services and other points to note: Small shop and library. Moroccan Hammam and an Oriental Spa on the ground floor, where you can relax with our argan-oil massages or Shiatsu.  Also a cooking class with the chef to learn about Moroccan cuisine. Guests are also permitted to use the pool at their countryside property (Les Jardin de Villa Maroc).

Meals: Breakfast is included, normally taken on the roof terrace which enjoys lovely views of the vast sandy bay. Evening meals are obligatory on the first night and of high standard (but not included in the price) – Villa Maroc is renowned for its cuisine: each day there is one fish, one meat and one vegetarian option. Dinner and lunch is served in the homely restaurant, which is composed of a series of salons interlinked by small openings and niches so that you can dine intimately but without feeling isolated. You may wish to buy their recipe book “Villa Maroc Food”.
