Accommodation: 14 bedrooms are positioned either side of a central courtyard housing the pool.

The bedrooms are decorated with smart fabrics and feature earth walls. All bedrooms have a shower, air conditioning and heating. In addition there is a roof top apartment with 2 bedrooms and a living room, which sleeps up to 6 guests.

Location: Set in the beautiful Ameln Valley  deep in the Anti Atlas Mountains 3 hours south of Agadir (143 km along winding, scenic mountain roads), close to the town of Tafraoute.

Services and other points to note: Ideal for outdoor activities, nature lovers or those just wanting to relax on the terrace by the pool. Trekking, walking and cycling close by. Try to be at the hotel around midday when the shadows on the towering rock face above the hotel make the “Lion’s Head” very apparent. Spacious sitting room with library. Separate bar with TV.

Meals: Good food is served in an charming dining room. Dishes include pizzas, spaghetti and other European dishes as well as Moroccan fare. Good range of offerings for breakfast.
