Accommodation: The hotel offers 36 rooms/suites and tent-style rooms offering a range of accommodation options including:

• 4 large suites decorated in an 'Arabian Nights' style with air conditioning and small salon, 4 poster beds and private terraces;
• 16 newly built standard rooms with en suite bathrooms;
• 16 tent-style rooms with all mod cons and private terraces but communal washing facilities - separate for male and female guests.

Location: In the hamlet of Ouled Driss on the south east edge of Morocco (due east of Agadir) on the edge of the Sahara, accessible by picturesque routes through the mountains from Taroudant (8 hrs) or from Marrakech (8.5 hrs), conveniently located in a tiny palm grove amongst the sand dunes 1.5 hours south of Zagora.

Services and other points to note: Excursions to the 100 metre high dunes of Erg Lihoudi or the huge Chigaga dunes (the latter accessed by 4x4 only). Option to ride camels and/or camp overnight at their secluded nomads' tents as well as to learn about the history and culture of local communities.

Meals: There are 3 restaurants around the patio. High quality traditional Moroccan cuisine, with an outdoor kitchen where traditional bread is made and barbecued food prepared.
