Accommodation:  The 9 rustic rooms are simply furnished and en suite; some rooms can accommodate an extra bed:

• 6 rooms on the ground and first floor, all of which have fireplaces but don't require air-conditioning due to the earth construction;
• 3 new suites on the roof terrace have air conditioning and heating, and one has its own terrace.

Location: Near Azilal, 2.5 hours' (150 km) scenic drive east north east of Marrakech or 6 hours south of Fez. 

It is set above the Cascades (waterfalls) d’Ouzoud, in the Middle Atlas Mountains and set at an altitude of 1100m.

Services and other points to note: Safe deposit boxes and laundry service available. The village can be cold in winter due to the high altitude and distance inland.

Meals: Half board is included. Dinner is good, tasty traditional food with option of French dishes if required. Local meat and vegetables are used - organic where possible.  Food and drinks can be served on the terraces.

Staff: Patrick, the owner, a former architect and interior decorator who was brought up in northern Morocco, has a wonderful sense of humour; he and his lovely Berber staff create a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere.
