Accommodation: A small select luxury desert camp comprising of 6 tents; 5 deluxe tents and 1 exclusive Royal tent in a private location all with private ensuite bathrooms.

Location: Superbly located, right in the heart of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes in Merzouga, the most accessible large sand dunes in the country.  Merzouga is on the south east edge of Morocco, almost due east from Marrakech, accessible by picturesque routes from either Fez (7 hrs) or Skoura/Ouarzazate (5.5 hrs).

Services and other points to note: The excursion to the camp by ca mel or 4x4 (vehicle is an optional extra). Includes all meals, drinks, camel treks and activities. This excursion starts in the evening, and the camels will be loaded with food, blankets, and everything else needed for the overnight stay in the Sahara desert. This night in the Sahara desert will include a delicious dinner over a campfire, listening to traditional Berber drums, and sleeping in luxury tents. After breakfast, you will be transported back to the Kasbah Mohayut to freshen up and meet your driver for your ongoing journey.

Meals: Breakfast & an evening meal is included.  Good quality Moroccan dishes for lunches or picnics are available on request at reasonable prices.

Staff: Responsibly managed and run by a charming and extremely friendly Moroccan family, one of whom, Moha, has a degree in English.
