Accommodation: Riad Kalaa 2 offers 9 beautifully designed bedrooms or suites, all are en suite with a shower; the prestige suite 'Rabat' has a shower, spa bath and a private terrace. The riad offers every comfort: good food, excellent staff, roof terrace pool and a splendid view of the old town. A variety of rooms with excellent facilities including rooms ideal for families.

Rooms consist of:

2 standard rooms; Chichaoua (single room) on the ground floor and Ifrane (double) on the first floor. Both rooms have a shower.

4 deluxe rooms; Casablanca (double), Fez (double), Marrakech (double/twin) & Zagora (double/twin) all located on the first floor. All are equipped with a shower.

2 junior suites; Tan-Tan and Tarfaya both located on the ground floor. Both can sleep up to 4 people so ideal rooms for a family of three or four. Tarfaya has a double and takes 2 additional single extra beds while Tan-Tan takes 2 double beds. Both are spacious and can comfortably accommodate a family or 2 people as a retreat.

1 prestige suite; Rabat. Located on the top floor with a private terrace and a superb view of the medina rooftops, this very comfortable and spacious suite has an ensuite bathroom with a shower and spa bath.

Location: Just a short walk into the Kalaa, a 12th century Kasbah on the estuary of the river Bouregreg, the riad is convenient for shopping in the medina and the main sights. Also just a short walk from its sister riad Riad Kalaa where guests have access to their restaurant and spa.

Services and other points to note: There is a pool on the beautiful terrace (unheated). Lunches and dinners are available by request and for spa availability, please make an appointment with the staff (spa at their sister riad; Riad Dar Dar is open 7 days a week).

Meals: Breakfast is included. High quality Moroccan meals made to order and taken at the restaurant at Riad Kalaa (which is open 7 days a week).

Staff: The manageress, Solange, who lives at Riad Kalaa is extremely efficient, friendly and professional and assisted by a charming and competent team. David, the owner, is often on site too.
