Kasbah Angour is a recently constructed boutique hotel set on a hill-top in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains only 30 minutes’ drive from Marrakech.

Accommodation: There are 19 superior rooms, 7 junior suites and 1 deluxe suite with wonderful views. They are beautifully designed using traditional Moroccan materials: red sandstone, hand-made clay tiles, cedar and eucalyptus wood, cane and locally-made furniture with Berber motifs.
A comfortable stay in each room/suite is assured by dreamily comfortable beds and pillows, as well as under-floor heating and air conditioning. All rooms have shower and some bath and shower combined, hairdryer, and telephone. All suites have fireplaces and two suites will soon have bars with fridge and sink.
Location: Kasbah Angour is located 35 km and 30 minutes south of Marrakech. It is 5km after Tahanaout in the direction of Asni and Taroudant.
Services and other points to note: The Kasbah is a splendid spot to relax: enjoy the gardens and unheated swimming pool and admire the mountain scenery and Berber villages. There is a lot to see and do in the local vicinity with a variety of day excursions available.
The traditional buildings complement the fabulous location, and the 18 acres of gardens have retained many of the mountain plants. There are 3 distinct areas giving precedence to one or more of the following: vegetables, flowers, trees or lawn.
There are extensive terraces where you can enjoy the sunshine and views and a wonderful courtyard bordered by a pergola for al fresco dining.
Guests can relax & enjoy a drink in Kasbah Angour's vaulted café-bar, where there is also a library of books. One night per week (typically Saturdays or Mondays) there is a musical evening. The accommodation offers alcoholic drinks.
Meals: Meals are served in the Restaurant Le Grand Atlas or the Cafe-Bar Azrou. Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine, prepared using locally-sourced produce including organic fruit and vegetables from the Kasbah’s own gardens.
Breakfasts offer a choice of freshly squeezed orange juice, Berber flat bread with jam & honey, Berber pancakes, eggs (including poached in fried tomatoes), cereal, yoghurt and fruit.
In Spring and Summer groups can dine in a Berber tent in Le Jardin des Tents in a separate part of the extensive gardens.
