"wished we had stayed longer and experienced more"

Definitely the most homely place we stayed in Morocco, with excellent facilities.throughout. Meals were excellent and sometimes overwhelmingly large! All the staff were extremely friendly and Latifa was superbly organised, ensuring that our stay went smoothly.

Even things like tea-making facilities make a nice change. We felt very comfortable. We are more used to independent travel, so we weren't sure if this would work for us. In the end we were very pleased we did it and wished we had stayed longer and experienced more. Both day trips were good in very different ways, and allowed us to do things we would never have done on our own but enjoyed everything. A Taylor Dec 2013

Tradional Breadmaking in the High Atlas"our week in Morocco surpassed, by a long way, our every expectation and my expectations were high"

We have just about come back down to earth after our trip to Taroudant, unpacked and washed and sorted and reminisced. I can honestly say our week in Morocco surpassed, by a long way, our every expectation and my expectations were high.

Your team over there are extraordinary and I know it wasn’t a busy time so we were, perhaps, able to have a little more individual attention but we were so well looked after by Dounia, Nourdine and Little Latifa and then we met Tall Latifa and Tall Said towards the end of the week. I cannot thank them enough for the welcome we had and the way they treated me but especially my daughters. ….

We loved Taroudant and threw ourselves into shoe making, stone carving and jewellery making as well as learning to cook a mean tagine and experiencing the Hammam (mmmm, still a bit sore …) – the excursions to the Oasis and the Berber villages were fascinating and informative and the food …. Oh my, we loved the food.

I was a little apprehensive before we went but we all felt very at home in Taroudant, we were made welcome everywhere we went and the craftsmen we met were fantastic with the girls who were beaming with delight at their handiwork. The souks were really interesting and intoxicating places to stroll around and there were bargains to be had – I bought a number of rugs back ….

So, in short, Sue, we had a fantastic time, I cannot tell you how happy I am and we will be returning to Morocco, insha’Allah, many more times. S Talbot. August 2013

Basketware in Taroudant SoukFrom the moment we arrived at the guest house at Taroudant we knew we were going to have a very special holiday. We had a lovely welcome and Latifa's wonderful organisational skills meant we were able to fit in almost everything that was on offer during the week....The food was outstanding and it was brilliant to have our own cookery lesson and then go and barter (with help) for my own tagine. Eleanor and Chris Jakeman May 2012

Small Tagine"..our week in Taroudant enabled us to get under the skin of Berber culture"

We enthuse to everyone we meet about Naturally Morocco and about our very interesting holiday, so different from any available from other tourist operators.  We felt that our week in Taroudant enabled us to get under the skin of Berber culture, and in such a very enjoyable way and as you can gather, we have the best of memories of our Moroccan holiday. Moroccan Slippers"Lots of good little personal touches"

I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday in Taroudant. For someone travelling on their own, the small group; friendly, helpful attitude of all the staff, home cooked food, all added up to a great relaxing time in good company. Lots of good little personal touches like the galabeahs and robes too. Trips excellent Fran Rees February 2012

Polizzi's Medina“…food magnificent and the cultural experiences on offer memorable”

We found the staff at the guesthouse in Taroudant so helpful, the food magnificent and the cultural experiences on offer memorable. We were also lucky enough to share the house with other like-minded couples and families, helping to make it a real social occasion. Neil Thomas April 2011

Artisan Making Slippers"Best of all were the people"

.Good balance between organised trips and doing our own thing.Vegetarian food was fantastic and the cooks really thoughtful as to what our 2 year old would eat. Best of all were the people. Don’t want to single anyone out, but as a Team they were fab, very flexible, warm, hospitable and helpful. They were especially good with Ellie our two year old and found her children to play with!We loved the whole feel of Taroudant and were glad that we had a holiday that was not only relaxing and sunny (the original reasons why we’d gone) but also culturally stretching and fascinating. Restored Gate, Taroudant"We have already recommended you to our friends and family"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Guest House in Taroudant. All the people there were fantastic and looked after us so well with regards to the accommodation, the food and organising all the visits and activities - we could not praise them highly enough. We paid for extra excursions and cultural experiences and enjoyed them all (even the painful parts of the Hammam!). The craft experience of making the sandals in the souk was very rewarding - we came away with a pair each of great quality after over four hours of patient instruction. We have already recommended you to our friends and family. Even the Ryanair flight was satisfactory (we were a bit concerned beforehand!).-Many thanks" Tim & Karen Bowen November 2010

Mint Tea Ingredients" it was the nicest food I have ever had on holiday"

We enjoyed our stay in Taroudant. The guest house is a lovely place to stay. The accommodation was very clean and there are great views from the top terrace. Kais and Nordine were unbelievably welcoming and helpful. They both took extremely good care of all the guests. As a vegetarian I can honestly say it was the nicest food I have ever had on holiday.- Cher Wright October 2010

Taroudant Tannery"Food was fantastic"

"The guest house was a highlight, all the staff were so helpful and friendly.  Food was fantastic and it was worth going to Morocco just for little Latifa’s massages.  We really felt as though we were sharing ‘real morocco’" D Williams, August 2010

Taroudant Town Walls"We were all very impressed by our Real Morocco experience"

"Everything about our stay in the Guest House was fabulous from the outings and cultural experiences to nights playing Scrabble and days at the Palais Salam pool. I booked an extra cultural experience in the form of an Arabic lesson and had great fun trying out my new language in the Souks.....Kais was a fun and inspirational teacher and our teenage girls adored him. Latifa and Said were also brilliant and we learned so much on our trip to the oasis with him.  We were all very impressed by our Real Morocco experience and felt honoured to be taken into the homes of the people in the Berber villages and the argan co-operative. I also sampled a fantastic massage given by Little Latifa". J Venus Evans, August 2010

Potter at Work in High Atlas"The hospitality was outstanding from all the staff"

"This was the jewel in the crown.  The guest house was very clean, the food here was fantastic, breakfast was excellent and every evening meal got better than the last and we opted to pay for an extra meal there on our final night.  We experienced Henna tattoos, the local Hammam (an unmissable experience) and the two trips to the Oasis and to Dounia's village were a true window into Moroccan life, untouched by the materialistic importance we place on life.  The hospitality was outstanding from all the staff however special mention must be made to praise Kais.  My son who is 18 was immediately made to feel like a special friend and Kais's rapport with all the guests made the whole experience in the Guest house so much richer." J Morisson, July 2010

Selection of vegatarian dishes"The guesthouse in Taroudant was superb"

"The holiday itself was an experience we'll never forget. The drivers were great - I'm a very nervous passenger but little Said made us feel very comfortable, and also our driver on the way back whose name I've unfortunately forgotten but who I think was quite new to you. The guesthouse in Taroudant was superb. The food was exquisite - as vegetarians we're quite nervous going abroad but we had no need to be this time. The girls felt very at home in the guesthouse and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The trips out were well planned and made the trip into something that felt unique. My daughter Megan (aged 4) made a display to take into her nursery all about Dounia's village and still talks about it.... she thinks she can see Morocco from her bedroom window and often talks about wanting to go back there".-Lucy Deakin  July 2010

A Caleche in Taroudant (c) Martin Harvey@wildimagesonline.com"..we had a fantastic holiday in Morocco"

"In a sentence - we had a fantastic holiday in Morocco - and would thank all Naturally Morocco staff for organising and making this happen. We must make special mention of Lahcen - our driver who accompanied us for the whole of our holiday. Not only was he a very careful driver - but he also gave our party exceptional service. He made a number of suggestions of places for us to visit - which we found very interesting, e.g: camel market. But above all he has a very good understanding of the real meaning of customer care.I must say he is a real credit to Naturally Morocco".    Richard Atkin, June 2010

Little Latifa in the Guesthouse Kitchen"The guest house has a wonderful atmosphere"

''Real Morocco- loved the excursions to the Berber villages. Dounia was a terrific guide and lunch with her cousin was a great experience. Also had a great time in the kitchen with Latifa and Fatima learning to cook the tagines and other dishes. The guest house has a wonderful atmosphere, due I'm sure to the staff".Leigh Fischer  June 2010

Goats climbing trees near Taroudant"The food was amazing; the trips and cultural experiences were great."

I absolutely loved my holiday! I was very cautious about it as I had bad experiences with pre-booked tours  before but I was absolutely delighted with everything, especially the staff - they are all wonderful!  The food was amazing; the trips and cultural experiences were great. I loved the hammam, cooking and the Women’s Berber band. I think the way the meals are organised so you all mix together is a great idea - I made new friends and as a single person helped to make the trip even better.  Accommodation was very comfortable and homely - all in all a fantastic experience, value for money and something I would (and already have) definitely recommend.” C Smith, May 2010 (Single Traveller)

Tradional Breadmaking in the High Atlas" a really good introduction to a country"

Just back from a super holiday in Taroudant - we made it in spite of the ash cloud! Food at the guest house was excellent and we enjoyed the cookery lesson. We also had a great evening with the Berber band, although I don't think we'll win any prizes for our dancing! The trips to the Berber villages and the oasis were also very enjoyable and extremely informative. We felt the package was a really good introduction to a country that none of us had visited before.   Barry Williams, May 2010

Display of Spices"The staff are exceptional and the itinerary just right"

We felt so looked after here. The staff are exceptional and the itinerary just right.  The food was the best we had in Morocco. It was our daughter's 18th birthday while we were there and they made a lovely cake and sung happy birthday to her in Arabic!  The guest house was well placed for exploring the town and the staff gave good advice on how to manage the souks, markets and other locations. It was all very sociable and we also enjoyed the Berber band!   Chris Ricketts April 2010
