Our latest projects - Autumn 2005
- In January 2006 we sponsored 2 visiting specialists who assisted a village community to set up a cottage industry soap making project using local products. We will help them to market their products through our clients and contacts with craft outlets.
- In December 2006 we sponsored a visiting specialist in education for the Blind to assist the new local Blind school for southern Morocco in Taroudant. We have since been collecting and sending various items to them.
- We encourage clients to make donations of clothes to the local orphanage
- As part of our follow up procedures, after clients have been on holiday with us, we invite them to donate towards the setting up of a Room To Read project, which provides books for school children. The charity has won the Social Capitalist Award 3 times, so you can be assured that all donations are being used wisely.
- We are building a new guest house and gardens designed on sustainable principles.
