From mid October until mid November each year, our “Real Morocco” programme celebrates the harvest of saffron (Crocus Sativus) in the beautiful Jbel Sirwa in the Anti Atlas Mountains around Talaouine, the saffron capital of Morocco - Trip available October 18th, 25th, the day when the Saffron Festival takes place in the first week of November (date not yet fixed), November 8th and 15th.

Tiz-n-Test Pass Hike

The Tiz-n-Test pass is said to be the most spectacular mountain pass in Africa and certainly in Morocco. The top of the pass is a 57 mile journey via the Souss valley and then via a series of hairpin bends. En route there are excellent views of 2 mountain ranges and breathtaking views into the valleys below where the 3 hour hike takes place
