Accommodation: The riad, which was completed in 2008, forms part of a walled complex in beautiful countryside in the Middle Atlas Mountains; it comprises 8 basic but comfortable en suite rooms all with air conditioning, TV and mini fridge. The décor is colourful with a most attractive domed centerpiece. There are some older, budget rooms which could be made available if the Riad part is full.

Location: Located in very attractive countryside just off the main road between Fez and Midelt, about 16 km north of Midelt.

Services and other points to note: The owner is developing a library and displays to promote intercultural understanding through displays and visits to a number of places of interest in the locality. He has also developed an area of beautiful land adjacent to the property as a reserve for visitors to enjoy.

Meals: Breakfast is included. Good quality Moroccan food is available both at lunch and dinner time in the spacious colourful, rustic restaurant.

Staff: The charming Moroccan owner, Youssef, is a Berber linguistics professor thoroughly committed to the cultural education and conservation of the environment and continues to develop the Timnay Intercultures Centre to further these ideals.
