VILLA VANILLE - MARRAKECH PALMERY

Set in stunning gardens with 2 pools, one heated, Villa Vanille offers a competitively priced and tastefully furnished “paradise in the Palmery”. It has 3 garden cottages ideal for families, and a large villa, which is a beautiful centre piece where 3 larger suites and the communal lounge with open fire and dining areas are found. Additionally, it has a hammam and a pets' corner for children in the garden.

Accommodation: There are 6 units - 3 in the main house and 3 in the garden.

The Suites in the Main Houseare stylishly furnished with a mix of modern and traditional Moroccan furnishings and artifacts in the main villa, all with a private terrace and accessed from the garden: Sahara sleeps up to 5 people (1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds); Toubkal sleeps up to 6 people  (2 single beds in the lounge and 1 double with 2 extra spaces for children to sleep in the huge bedroom); and Oasis - 1 double bed.

The Garden Cottages are less expensive; they are set a short walk from the main building, are semi- detached, more rustic in style and each has its own patio. Soleil has a lounge sleeps 4 or 5 in 2 bedrooms(2 double beds and 1 single); Atlas sleeps 2 or 3 (double bedroom and extra bed in lounge), Gibillete has one double bed and Nature has twin beds that may convert to a double.

Location: Set in the Palmery north of the medina off the Casablanca road, about 20 minutes by taxi to the medina and the main square of Jemaa el Fna.

Services and other points to note: There are 2 large pools, one of which is 12 metres long, unheated, and up to 2.2 metres deep, the other pool is 20 metres long and is heated when necessary. There is a spacious hammam, a massage room and a gym room tucked away in the grounds. Wifi in all rooms. The grounds house a fabulous cacti collection and lots of shady and sunny places to laze. There is plenty for children to do around the grounds: a small “zoo” corner with goats, tortoises etc, a luxury tent with sofas, toys and a dog and cats.

Meals: Breakfast is included.  High quality lunch or dinner are prepared on request and are usually Moroccan in style, but all requests can be met, e.g. early meals and special food for children. Meals may be served in one of the 2 lovely dining rooms, one of which has glass walls onto the garden or, if preferred, on your own terrace or in the garden.
