Set in a marvellous position on the periphery of an authentic hamlet on the edge of the Palmery, Kasbah le Mirage offers a huge range of activities including spa, archery, camel trekking, cycling, quad and mountain biking and much more. It has 28 attractive rooms, set amongst a beautiful maze of patios with gardens, a pool, terrace and roof terrace with heated jacuzzi.

Accommodation: The 28 en suite a/c rooms, all with separate toilet, are attractively decorated in traditional Moroccan rustic style and are arranged around courtyards in this pretty hamlet setting:1 suite with fireplace, private jacuzzi and satellite TV; 1 large family room for 4; 2 pairs of rooms suitable for families. There is a lounge with TV.

Location: Only 25 minutes from the city yet in an authentic village setting to the north of the city in the lesser known part of the Palmery which has not been developed.

Services and other points to note: You can opt for archery, rifle range, french bowls, table tennis, climbing wall, table tennis, quad and mountain-biking, camel trekking and horse-riding. Alternatively opt to be pampered in the spa which offers a hammam, hairdresser, beauty treatments, rest area and the gym, or relax in the heated jacuzzi on the roof terrace. Craftsmen’s workshops are due to be open in 2009.

Meals: Breakfast is included. The chef is justly proud of the superb Moroccan cuisine. Food is either served in the spacious, pretty dining room with bar or on the lovely terrace overlooking the river bed and the Palmery.

Staff: Friendly staff are overseen by resident owner, Jean Pierre. Some English speaking staff but French speaking more prevalent.
