A good value, delightful, romantic riad with 4 adaptable bedrooms and a peaceful atmosphere (no children under 12 allowed except for whole riad bookings), Riad Villa El Arsa is situated in the desirable Kennaria district of the medina, just south of the main square. The decor is stylish without being over-ornate, featuring an original plunge pool, beautiful painted ceilings, antique doors, pillars and arches, 2 salons, one with an open fire, one with a stereo, a well equipped roof terrace with sun loungers and a shaded area.

Accommodation: There are 4 bedrooms in total. All bedrooms have air conditioning and heating and tadelakt (polished plaster) en suite bathrooms: rooms 1 and 2 have baths and showers; rooms 3 and 4 have showers. Room 1 is a larger master bedroom offers a double bed and single/settee and its own fireplace; Room 2 has a double bed and single/settee; room 3 has a twin beds and single/settee; room 4 has a double bed which may be converted to a twin.

Location: Situated in the Kennaria district of the medina, just south of the main square, it is ideally placed to see the sights of Marrakech and less than 10 minutes walk from the main square of Jemaa el Fna. Just 5 minutes' walk from safe parking at the “Prefecture”.

Services and other points to note: High season supplements at Xmas and Easter, and whole house is available for rental at those times only, sleeping 10.

Meals: Breakfast is included. Evening meals or lunch can be prepared to order. The excellent food is served either on the roof terrace, in the dining salon or in the courtyard.

Staff: Brahim, the manager, speaks very good English and is most attentive, supported by his staff and also often by the knowledgeable owner.
