A spacious, attractive riad adorned with colourful fabrics with just 2 rooms and 2 suites, Riad Lorsya has extensive public facilities for its size: a plunge pool, a hammam and large U-shaped kitchen/dining room/ living room with fire place opening onto the pretty patio (with cover for winter or wet weather) and a lovely spacious roof terrace. In addition, it benefits from excellent staff and a good location.

Accommodation: All 4 bedrooms are situated on the first floor, have a shower room, heating, air conditioning and a safe, and are imaginatively decorated and furnished with very colourful fabrics. There are 2 double rooms, of 20 sq metres with 1400 cm wide double beds and 2 suites, each of 44 sq metres have wide beds with a small private living room that can take a spare bed for a third person and a child’s bed.

Location: Located in the fashionable Mouassine district in the heart of the ancient Medina, only 5 minutes' walk from the souks and the main square, the Place Jemaa El Fna, the riad is accessed by a long alley.

Services and other points to note: Hammam, massage, and solarium. Concierge, babysitting and laundry service. Communal WiFi, Satellite TV and DVD player. Informal cookery lessons are also available on request.

Meals: Breakfast is included. Evening meals or lunch are available on request. You can choose to dine by candle light on the roof terrace, in the patio or in the dining room. The chef specialises in the best of Moroccan family cooking, using fresh seasonal market produce. Wine, beer or soft drinks are extra.

Staff: Very well-managed by Ilyas, who speaks good English and French and a charming manageress.
