Restored in 2008, this well managed riad offers 9 attractive en suite reasonably priced rooms overlooking a pretty patio, a hammam and cosy dining/sitting room with fireplace for cold weather and a well-equipped spacious roof terrace with views of the Koutoubia Mosque, shaded sitting area and sun loungers. It also has the benefit of an excellent location with easy access on foot or by vehicle.

Accommodation: The 9 rooms (7 doubles and 1 twin on the first floor and 1 twin on the ground floor) are arranged on 2 floors overlooking the courtyard, all with air conditioning/heating units and satellite TV and good shower rooms. Some double rooms have space for an extra bed.

Location: Just a minute’s walk from the famous restaurant/riad, La Maison Arabe, it is easy to find and conveniently located for direct vehicular access and the sights in the romantic medina of Marrakech and for Gueliz. It is approximately 10 minutes' walk from the main Jemma el Fna Square and the Koutoubia Mosque.

Meals: Meals are served in dining room on the ground floor, in the courtyard or on the terrace. A simple Moroccan breakfast is included. Evening meals - on request - are traditional Moroccan fare.

Staff: Owned and run by a friendly, good humoured Moroccan/Canadian couple, Simo and Celine, who are experienced riad owners and are often on site as well as their 3 permanent staff who offer a 24 hour personal service.
