This very charming riad located in the antique dealers' district in the heart of the ancient Medina can be easily privatized for it offers 4 ensuite rooms. There is a plunge-pool in the courtyard, a dining room and candle-lit salon with a wood fire for cosy winter evenings, and a rooftop terrace.

Dar Tinmel has recently pledged to give 1 Euro per room per night to the Noujoum Association, which aims to alleviate the suffering of hospitalized children.

Accommodation: There are 4 traditionally furnished rooms: 1 double room with mezzanine, 2 double rooms and 1 suite with optional extra bed. All have en suite shower room (except the suite with bath).

Location: Located in the fashionable Mouassine district in the heart of the ancient Medina, only 5 minutes' walk from the souks and the main square, the Place Jemaa El Fna, the riad is accessed by a long alley.

Services and other points to note: Excellent 1-hour massage available. Informal cookery lessons including a shopping trip to buy ingredients and eating the meal afterwards. Written recipe given to guests.

Meals: Breakfast is included. Evening meals or lunch are available on request.

Staff: Yassine manages his team very well and Phillipe, the efficient owner, lives locally and often visits the riad.
