Dar Donab is a luxurious and light 6 bedroom palace with a large swimming pool set in unusually spacious gardens for its medina location close to the souks. This is an ideal place for romantics with a remarkable number of terraces offering guests the chance for privacy and space as well as lavish accommodation.

Accommodation: There are 6 rooms in total; 4 suites, a double room and a single room. The suites and double room are extremely spacious and immaculately decorated with beautiful, distinctive and atmospheric touches. These rooms also include: satellite TV, minibar, heating, telephone, safe, private terrace and air conditioning, and are set around a citrus-tree-filled courtyard with large swimming pool. On the first floor are: Suite 1 with shower and bath, set over 2 levels; Suite 2 with shower and bath, not the most luxurious but perhaps the nicest suite; Double Room 3 with shower and bath, set away from the other rooms on a terrace, the most private and peaceful and great for romantic couples; Single Room 6, single bedroom en-suite with shower, a modest room closest to the road without a/c or the stated facilities of the other rooms; Suite 4, the apartment, the most cosy of the suites but still expansive. On the ground floor is Suite 5, the vast Royal suite, with shower and bath.

Location: Next door to the Dar El Bacha palace of which it was formerly a part, only 5 minutes' walk from the souks and under 15 minutes' from the main square, Place Jemma el Fna. Set on a wide pedestrian and scooter alley, only a minutes walk from taxi access.

Meals: Meals - extensive breakfast served anywhere in the premises you request. A high class restaurant for residents and non-residents, serving a range of international and Moroccan dishes.

Staff: Excellent, highly efficient staff, with the American owner often in residence.
