Dar Ouassaggou is a small, comfortable, easy accessible guest house benefitting from a superb terrace with panoramic views of the mountains, Berber villages and the adjacent walnut groves. Your hospitable Berber hosts live on the ground floor from where they serve high quality traditional meals either on the terrace or in winter by the fireplace in the cosy salon.

Accommodation: 6 colourfully decorated en-suite rooms, of which 5 have showers: the 6th larger room has a bath. There are 2 double rooms, 1 twin, 2 rooms which may be double or twin (one of which has a bath) and 1 large triple room. Also 1 large Berber salon with shared exterior bathroom which may sleep up to 7 people.

Location: East of the village of Imlil on the road towards Tizi N' Tamatert at Douar Ait Souka which is about 15 minutes' walk, with mules to carry bags. The road is due be tarmaced by 2010 so will then be accessible by taxi.

Services and other points to note: Clothes washing service available, luggage room and internet access. There is also access to the village hammam.

Meals: The price includes B&B and coffee, sugar and powdered milk are available in the rooms. If required tasty traditional evening meals (soup, tagine or couscous, fruit and mint tea/coffee) may be ordered. All meals may be served either in the dining area with fireplace or on the terrace. Lunch or evening meals for children 5 to 15 years are half price.

Staff: Houssine and his team provide a very friendly welcome and speak good English.
