Imlil

Imlil is a thriving village at the head of a valley in a spectacular setting in the High Atlas Mountains just 1.5 hours’ drive south of Marrakech at a height of about 1,800 metres above sea level. Overlooked by the peak of Mount Toubkal, the highest mountain in north Africa, it is the centre for much of the trekking activities in the area, and within easy reach of some of Morocco's most scenic valleys and gorges.
