In order to take full advantage of the many activities on offer at Terres D'Amanar, we recommend staying on site, where the range of accommodation offered suits a range of budgets and sleeping arrangements. We offer two types of self contained units:

Accomodation

Ecolodges. Set on a slope below a beautiful garden of roses, herbs and various trees including almonds and looking down onto a large pool with wonderful distant views of the lights of Marrakech at night are 26 comfortably furnished earth-built ecolodges.

The lodges offer ideal sleeping arrangements for families, friends or couples, accommodating 2 to 6 people in one or two bedroomed lodges. The rustic yet stylish décor of the rooms features locally woven textiles, unusual artefacts and furniture handmade from gnarled local trees. There is central heating and ceiling fans, though, thanks to their earth construction, they are naturally cool in summer and warm in winter.

Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom with rainwater shower and a lounge with a massive day bed/sofa which may comfortably sleep up to 2 extra people. In the 2 bedroomed lodges the position of the lounge between the 2 bedrooms offers added flexibility. Each has a small gated private garden and terrace, providing security for young children.

Ecolodges with tented roof. An ideal budget option for the adventurous, the 32 tented lodges are similar to the ecolodges described above except for the tented roof and the bathrooms which are housed in 2 blocks, which are a short walk from the lodges. However, it should be borne in mind that it could be cold in winter despite heating.

Location: Set in the foothills of the High Atlas on the edge of the National Park, about 40 minutes drive from Marrakech and a few minutes’ drive from the town of Asni.

Meals: A good breakfast is included. Lunches and evening mealsare traditional Moroccan fare; they are served indoors or on the terrace.

Staff: The owner is committed to responsible tourism and has provided much needed work for people from the surrounding villages who staff the site. Amongst the educated staff, French is the language predominantly spoken; 3 of the staff speak English including the helpful manager, Mustapha.
