RYAD MABROUKA | FEZ

Ryad Mabrouka is a beautifully decorated riad, tucked away a short walk from the main sights of the medina.  It is stunningly presented, with a great view of the medina and surrounding mountains, has a lovely courtyard with pool, but is not suited to young children.

Accommodation: 8 spacious rooms (25-30 m²), each unique in its decor, with antique French furniture. Restored in the local style with colourful "zelliges" (mosaics), sculpted plaster work and richly decorated cedar wood ceilings, air condition and heating, en suite bathrooms and a queen size bed or twin beds (extra bed 25 Euros): 5 are suites for 2 or 3 persons, 1 family suite and 2 ensuite rooms.

Location: Situated 5 minutes’ walk north from the Bab Boujeloud, which is the western gate of the medina.  Also around a 5 minutes’ walk to the Talaa Kebira and Seghira, the main shopping streets which lead you downhill into the heart of the historic Fez medina, and 10 minutes from many of the main attractions.

Services and other points to note: There is a good size swimming pool and a hammam. This riad is not suitable for young children.

Meals: Breakfast is included. Excellent Moroccan and French dinners (25 Euros) and lunches (20 Euros) can be served on request, either local dishes and French or Mediterranean cuisine, served in the magical dining room with views over medina.

Staff: Michel Trezzy and his excellent staff can arrange excursions to the Middle Atlas Mountains, the city, the surrounding area and horse riding can be arranged.
