RIaD Maison Bleue | Fez

A jewel of a traditional riad with swimming pool, excellent spa facilities and a superb location. Built as a family palace in 1915 by a famous judge and astrologer of the times, this riad is beautifully decorated with blue mosaics, finely carved cedar-wood doors, stained glass windows with wrought iron grilles and stucco cornices. It has 11 rooms, 3 roof terraces with amazing views, a small garden and bar.

Accommodation: A long corridor leads to a courtyard surrounded by three Moroccan salons. Eleven deluxe rooms and two standard rooms. 5 on ground floor, 8 on first - each with en suite bathroom and air conditioning. 3 patios.

Location: Superb location within 10 metres of parking and near the Azliten square, and 2 minutes away from the Medersa Bouananya.

Services and other points to note: The spa is exceptional with a fabulous range of natural treatments and it has one of the best views in Fez. There is also a library with oil paintings, beautifully bound books and letters written in perfect calligraphy.The riad has an impressive “Green Key” certified sustainability policy with lots of information available at the riad

Meals: Breakfast included. Lunches and Dinner (traditional home cooked dishes) also available.

Staff: Sidi Mohammed El Abbadi grandchildren now keep the spirit of the house alive by opening it to guests. All the staff are very gracious and accommodating.
