Riad Les Deux Mondes | ESSAOUIRA

Set in attractive grounds with a good pool, Riad Les Deux Mondes is an attractive 17 roomed hotel located in a fairly remote rural setting 10 kms south of Essaouira. This budget priced hotel is ideal for groups or those looking for peace and quiet disturbed only by farm animals grazing nearby.

Accommodation: The17 spacious rooms are set on 2 floors in two separate buildings either side of the pool which allows for all rooms to have a pleasant outlook onto the gardens and pool. The rooms are simply but comfortable furnished. All rooms have double or twin beds and may take an extra bed and the larger Superior rooms may sleep 4.

There are two types of rooms: Standard and Superior; some of the latter have a private terrace. All have an en-suite shower/WC. Please note there are no safes or hair driers in rooms, but there is a safe at reception.

There are fireplaces in the salon/dining room areas.

Location: The hotel is approached by a 2 km long rough but level track off approached off the main Essaouira- Agadir road, 8 km south of Essaouira. The hotel is in a peaceful area surrounded  by small fields with stone walls where local farmers graze their livestock (mainly sheep and donkeys). Access to the new golf course south of Essaouira is easy.

The nearest public transport is on the main road near to a well known restaurant. Clients wishing to explore further afield including the town or beach at Essaouira or the beach at Sidi Kaouki, both of which are well known for water sports, horse or camel riding, are advised to hire a car.

Services and other points to note:  There is a room of 22 square metres that could be used as a workshop space for groups or for a party. See note about location above.

Meals: Simple breakfasts are included.  Home-made food including fast food snacks are available throughout the day  Meals may be served by the pool, on the terrace or in the dining areas.

Staff: The owners, Edith and Xavier, and their friendly Moroccan staff run the hotel very efficiently.
