Kasbah Zineb | near Essaouira

This attractive kasbah style family hotel set amongst argan & thuya woodlands south of Essaouira and just 15 minutes drive from the coast enjoys a warmer and less windy situation than the nearby delightful port and small resort of Essaouira.

Accommodation:  The architecture and the white local stone building materials combine to create a striking building which is set in spacious grounds with pretty gardens. There are 15 double rooms of which 11 are in the main Kasbah: 8 may take an extra bed; there is 1 suite with 2 rooms (1 double and 1 with 3 single beds) and 2 rooms where the double is set against a wall which are best used as singles All rooms are simply furnished with en suite shower rooms; those in the main Kasbah are in pastel shades of pink, blue or yellow. There are also four bungalows with stone interiors with colour provided by curtains and bedspreads, 2 sleeping 2 and 2 sleeping 3. Overall the hotel can sleep a maximum of 42 people. The property also has an large outdoor swimming pool.

Services and other points to note: Folklore evenings may be arranged; Essaouira is famous for its Gnaoua musicians & annual festival. Also available are solarium, massage, visits to hammam, hiking, cycling, donkey rides and with horse riding nearby.Its location in open countryside, means that you will be able to get a true experience of Moroccan rural life

The big "Barn" room with a floor area of 140 sq metres is perfect for yoga or parties.

Meals:  Tasty Moroccan food is either served on the outside terrace overlooking pool, where breakfast & lunch are normally served, or inside in the colourful, traditional dining room. For larger groups and celebrations there is also the option of a comfortable detached events room which also serves as a perfect place to watch TV, take a siesta or for children to have fun.
