Dar Mimosas is a beautifully presented, secluded, luxury guest house with 7 suites set in spacious grounds 3 km south of Essaouira.  It is a great place to escape to, whilst being close to the interesting town, with strikingly original interior decor blending Moroccan and European influences, antiques and original paintings, spa treatments, a pool and private access to the beach.

Accommodation: The property has dramatic colour combinations in very spacious bedrooms: there are 7 suites, some of which have kitchens and 4 independent villas set within their own private gardens; each with 2 bedrooms. This property has a large swimming pool surrounded by gardens featuring lawns, fountains and mature trees, an aviary, rabbits, turtles, tortoises, chickens and a peacock.

Location: 3km south of Essaouira with private access to the beach and estuary.

Services and other points to note: Library of DVDs, the property has access to the beach and an estuary, which is great for birdwatching. There are also spa treatments available including: hammam, sauna, massage and beauty treatments.

Meals: Breakfast is included.  Lunch and dinner are available on request; there is no menu but a range of dishes may be suggested for dinner.

Staff: The congenial owner, Phillippe, who lives close by, oversees his charming staff.
