This 200 year old house is superbly situated for all the main attractions of Essaouira, and has a fabulous roof terrace with seating which gives a 360 degree view of the town, the beach and the port. It has been lovingly renovated to retain its original features but with modern facilities including extra wide beds. Comprising 4 stylish self-catering studios, let individually to sleep 2-3 people or capable of sleeping a group of up to 11 people if the 4 apartments are hired.

Accommodation: 4 boutique studios each with an Emperor (2m x 2m) double bed, open fireplace(s), bathroom with shower, sitting and dining areas and small kitchen area. An extra bed is possible in all studios except that on the top floor. Though studios can be reserved individually, the house is capable of sleeping a group of up to 11 people: each has a double bed and all except the top floor studio may sleep an extra person in the living room area which is at a different level to the double bed in both first floor apartments.

Location: The house is adjacent to the famous boutique hotel, Villa Maroc, very close to the port, beach, main town square, gardens, medina and the fortifications.

Services and other points to note:  The ground floor studio is larger (50 square metres) but darker. The remaining studios are 25-30 square metres, the smallest being on the top floor. Their are Ipod docking stations in each apartment and they have recently added an additional roof terrace with great views over the beach, port and medina.

Meals: Breakfast is excluded. Latifa will prepare traditional Moroccan meals for you on request.

Staff:  A charming Moroccan couple who live next door, Mohamed, the caretaker, and Latifa, the cook and cleaner are always willing to assist you. They both speak French speak some English. In addition, Rachel, the English owner can be available by phone if required.
