Accommodation: The 7 spacious bedrooms are decorated in a traditional style with features such as wrought iron canopy beds, stained glass and ceiling roses and all have en suite bathrooms with a shower and air conditioning and heating. There are 5 standard rooms and 2 junior suites.

Location: Situated a short distance along a track in Amerzou palmery, a short distance outside Zagora, it is a good base from which to explore the Tinfou dunes (20 km), the Djebel Zagora (the mountain opposite the town) and the Draa valley palmery on foot or mountain bike or to travel on to see the larger dunes in the M'Hamid area.

Services and other points to note: The owners offer local visits and experiences such as cookery lessons and henna tattooing. There is a TV room, games for children and large terrace with sun loungers around the pool. Visits to the local souk are organised every Wednesday and Sunday. Secure parking, disabled access, transport to city centre and laundry.

Meals: Breakfast and evening meal is included. Tasty variety of traditional Moroccan dishes, reasonably priced, made from ingredients bought daily from the local market.

Staff: Excellent manageress, a French lady, Ginette, and warm attentive staff, some with good English.
