LA FIBULE DE DRAA | ZAGORA

La Fibule du Draa is a  simple, family run hotel with 24 rooms, located on the roadside on the edge of the beautiful Amerzou palmery, just over the bridge from Zagora. Set in pretty gardens with a lovely palm shaded swimming pool and nomads' tents it also has a large attractive dining room serving good Moroccan food, a bar, a tea room and a boutique.

Accommodation: All rooms are en suite and have showers (some have baths) and air conditioning. Most rooms have pretty windows looking onto the pool and their décor in simple. There is a choice of double or twin rooms.

Location:  Situated on the west side of the road just after you cross the river as you leave Zagora en route for the Saharan dunes, it is a good base from which to explore the Tinfou dunes (20 km), the Djebel Zagora (the mountain opposite the town) and the Draa valley palmery on foot or mountain bike or to travel on to see the larger dunes in the M'Hamid area.

Services and other points to note: Bicycle rental is nearby. We cannot guarantee rooms here, since guests are sometimes allocated to another hotel which is under the same ownership, is of a similar standard, but is in a different position in Zagora and has different decor.

Meals: Prices include half board. Tasty traditional Moroccan food.
