LES JARDINS DE SKOURA | Skoura

Set deep in the lush Skoura oasis, Les Jardins de Skoura is an old millhouse which has been tastefully restored and decorated using traditional materials. It has a good size swimming pool set amongst colourful spacious gardens, with many productive fruit, nut and olive trees. Well managed with a good choice of 8 rooms of different sizes and layout including family options, it is a good place to stop en route to the desert or to use as a base for the large number of local sites.

Accommodation: There are 8 en suite rooms in total: 3 suites and 5 standard rooms (sleeping 2 - 4 people) with heating for winter nights, a living room with views of the Atlas Mountains, a dining room with open fireplace, a roof terrace with views of the oasis and Atlas Mountains, patios and tents. Rooms are air conditioned and have heating and there are fireplaces in the suites. All rooms have a safe, hairdryer and toiletries (organic argan oil soap / shampoo / shower cream & body milk)

Location: Situated deep in the beautiful unspoilt Skoura oasis, it is accessed by a few kms of well marked tracks though the palmery. Set on the southern side of the High Atlas Mountains 5 hours from Marrakech, 5 hours from Taroudant and 50 minutes from Ouarzazate (30 km).

Services and other points to note: Small hammam (treatments and massage on request). Donkeys for children to use, a cat and a dog to make friends with. They can arrange some local excursions.

Meals: Breakfast is included. Dinner is compulsory on the first night. Half Board option. Menus offer inspiring Mediterranean- Moroccan dishes.

Staff: Run by the highly efficient and welcoming French owner, Carole, and her meticulously trained staff.
