Tissint Desert Camp

Accommodation: The camp is famed for its high quality toilet facilities that include showers powered by reliable solar energy and 2 European style toilet blocks from the nearby spring fed pools. The traditional wool tents have proper beds with comfortable mattresses and rugs on the floor and can sleep up to 32 people in the spacious 16 Bedouin tents. Options available for families sharing a tent of up to 3 or 4 people.

Location: Tata lies on the southern edge of the Anti Atlas Mountains where they meet the Sahara and the desert camp is just an hours drive east.

Services and other points to note:  The desert camp has 2 camels available for riding and offers excursions to local caves, springs and Neolithic rock engravings. Or you can choose to just explore the camp and admire the impressive rock formations and beautiful natural landscape.

Staff: The French owner, Patrick, Francine, Sylian and Latifa, the manageress, offer a very warm welcome. Patrick has fulfilled his dream here by creating a responsibly- managed guest house in the desert and extended this to create this amazing site in a remote, but beautiful region.
