TREKKING IN MOROCCO - What to Wear

To maximise your enjoyment off a trek in Morocco, it is advisable to bring the appropriate equipment. A list of suggestions is set out below. We supply more detailed advice on booking.

  • Good walking boots and socks
  • Walking pole(s)
  • Backpack (which will be carried for you on overnight treks) and day sack
  • From autumn to late spring: thermal underwear, wind and waterproof jacket, hat, jumper/fleece, gloves
  • Goggles (winter, on some treks) and sunglasses (summer)
  • Personal items e.g. towel, sunscreen, wipes, toilet tissues
  • Small First Aid Kit including insect repellent, plasters, medicines
  • Small rubbish bag (to carry out what you carry in)
  • Matches e.g. to burn toilet paper
  • Water bottle or Camelbak
  • Head torch or torch/flashlight and spare batteries
  • Penknife
  • High energy snacks
  • Zip-Up bags for camera¬†
