Featured Itinerary - The Imperial Cities

From £450 pp for 7 nights (excl flights, based on 2 persons sharing)

Take advantage of the new direct flights from the UK to Fez to explore two other fascinating and contrasting cities in the vicinity: Meknes and Rabat. Whilst the trip may be tailored to your individual requirements, we suggest you begin with a 2 night stay in the smallest city, Meknes, then move on by train to Rabat, the current capital, for 2 nights and finally to Fez, the spiritual capital, for 3 nights.

Fez TanneryThe highlights of Meknes, include the huge tombs, granaries and stables, gardens and lakes and the authentic medina. Rabat is a relaxed and elegant city which offers an interesting mix of the modern and cosmopolitan together with Roman remains, a large 12th century mosque, a beautiful hilltop kasbah and a relaxed souk. The city of Fez, so-called city of 10,000 alleys, is renowned for its World Heritage Site medina, considered to be amongst the finest in the world. It is best explored in the company of our guide, who offers a half or full day tour of the medina on foot, providing an insight into the history, architecture and a lifestyle barely changed since medieval times.

The itinerary includes transfers to and from Fez airport. Optional trips to the historic ruins at Volubilis or the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains can also be arranged

Expansion in the South

Plage BlancheTo the south of Agadir are the largely undiscovered and wonderfully varied coastal landscapes on the margins of the High Atlas and Anti Atlas Mountains. The stunning scenery includes bays renowned for surfing, long sandy beaches, fine cliffs and coastal arches, and wilderness and estuaries of the Souss Massa National Park.

We have extended our presence in this area by taking on new accommodations including the Ksar Massa at Sidi Rabat overlooking the Atlantic and the Atlas Kasbah (see above) in the High Atlas near Agadir to add to those of Les 3 Chameaux and Sallys B&B at Mirleft. For those seeking some adventure we suggest our Sahara and Sea trek by foot and 4x4, featuring wild camping takes in Plage Blanche, the Draa Estuary and a number of 'old French forts'.

WeddingsMorocco is increasing in popularity as a venue for a wedding blessing and celebration party, and Naturally Morocco is extending its capability in this area.
