Why Book a Holiday in Morocco with Naturally Morocco

Booking a riad direct with the riad in Morocco itself and creating your own holiday is an attractive proposition – cutting out those pesky middle men/ women – but it is full of potential pitfalls and ignores the very significant value that Naturally Morocco can add to your holiday, which we explore in this article.

In the next article we will explore more about ATOL bonded holidays, which applies to holidays where the flight to/ from the UK and Morocco plus accommodation are booked as a single package.

Using Naturally Morocco – avoid the risks of booking direct

Naturally Morocco creates seamless bespoke holidays to Morocco, ensuring professional transfers to and from your airport and accommodation and that your accommodation is as described. Occasionally there can be issues with any accommodation, a room is not up to expectations or overbooking has occurred, and then Naturally Morocco is here to ensure that any issues are cleared swiftly with as little inconvenience to you during your holiday.

Additioanlly our expert staff have a huge wealth of experience and can identify the right accommodation for you from the huge range available on the market.

These extra protections and advice come at minimal extra cost as Naturally Morocco takes a commission from the accommodations’ public room prices and does not add on extra charges to that.

Booking a Riad Direct – It has risks

There are hundreds of riads in Morocco (in fact there are hundreds in Marrakech medina alone) from which to choose from – and there is a relatively constant stream of new ones opening, exisiting ones changing hands and old ones closing.

Maybe you have been recommended a riad by a friend or have searched on-line and decided on a riad to book, which you have decided to do direct. However, due to the steady turn-over of properties, there is a significant risk that, if booked direct, your riad may not recognise your booking when you turn up (especially if booked significantly in advance) with little redress possible and significant inconvenience on your holiday. This risk should not be overstated but it is a real risk, especially in peak periods.

Additionally, if you are creating your own holiday the extra items necessary such as ensuring smooth and professional transfers to and from your accommodation and airport can only realistically be arranged on arrival and, unfortunately, transfers might not be as smooth and efficient and economic as they should be.

This is not to say that booking direct is not a good option on occasions – for example a short and simple break at the last second, to a single riad recommended by a friend – but the extra risks and potential hassles with anything other than this should not be ignored, which Naturally Morocco can remove for minimal extra cost.
